We will be staying in Boone at Mike & Lynn Graham’s BoKoLoMo Cabin.

As we have found out, you need 4-wheel drive or chains to get to the house.  

Description: This NEW 3000 sq. ft. CABIN has all you want and more. 2 1/2 miles from downtown Boone and APP STATE campus and 15 minutes from Blowing Rock. This cabin has a 284 ft. long 40 ft. high rock cliff just out the back door and the deck is built to the contour of the rock. 3 Bedroom, a sleeping loft, 3 full baths and a half bath. Just across the gravel road from Winkler's Creek. Quiet, relaxing and peaceful setting.

One of most amazing cabins you will ever stay in. Just walk out and the back deck and you will be taken back at what you will see. Enjoy the 7 person Hot Tub under the rock ledge then go downstairs and enjoy a game of billiards. You can sit on one of the many decks, enjoy the sounds of the creek from just across the gravel road. Turn the outside ceiling fans on during the summer, sit in a rocking chair, read, relax and enjoy nature. Cuddle up at one of the two fireplaces during the winter and take a nice nap. This place is just 'something' to see and enjoy. Each bedroom has sliding glass doors that open up to one of the decks. No smoking, no pets and 4 wheel drive required during the winter.

DIRECTIONS TO BoKoLoMo Log Cabin Lodge FROM HWY 321

In Boone, from Hwy 321, turn at Bojangle’s onto Winkler’s Creek Rd. Go through light at Wilson Rd, then take second right*as Winker's Creek continues.  The road makes a sharp curve back to the left, and then you will go on a winding drive of approximately 2 miles. Take a left on Rainbow Mt. Road.  (Look for a row of mailboxes and a small wooden roadside shelter at the mailboxes and turn left here.  Rainbow Mountain Road is a gravel/dirt road) Then take first right (Estates Drive, one lane dirt/gravel road)) and BOKOLOMO cabin is the third on the left.
